CONCEPT

In order to bring the idea of integrity to the forefront of the building, volume containing all the units. The museum exhibition areas, workshops and working areas of the architectural centre are gathered under a shell. The building is rotated to be paralled to the museum entrance, fairground and culture road axis. Access is provided from the minus level of the building with the axis coming from this direction. The atrium, located at the minus level, provides natural light throughout the entire building while creating a holistic visuality by combaning with the design of the amphi atrium located at the entrance. The use of light was given importance in the design of the museum. The building itself is actually like a museum. The integration of the architecture centre and the museum provides visitors with the opportunity to understand and experience Sinan at all times The structure never actually separates the units from each other.
